I am a storyteller, born-and-bred in the Georgia, and deeply inspired by its rich cultural and spiritual traditions. As a daughter of the American South, my work blends Black Southern introspection with spirituality to tell stories about women and girls. Through the lens of Black girlhood and womanhood, I explore identity, culture, and power, reclaiming space through storytelling and personal mythology. I challenge dominant histories and expand the Black imaginary, elevating the transformative experiences of women and girls. Using installations, paintings, performance, photography, video, and monumental sculptures, I create immersive environments that invite reflection on race, gender, and self, encouraging a reimagining of identity and belonging.
